Immersive Sound Journey
Wilkinson Public Library · Telluride, Colorado
A live, two-hour immersive sound journey, 2–4 PM. You lie down (or sit), close your eyes, and layered live sound — gongs, bowls, drums, synths, guitar, voice — guides your nervous system into the parasympathetic state, where the body does its own healing. There is nothing to do and nothing to get right. Arrive 30 minutes early to get comfortable; a yoga mat, pillow, blanket, or eye mask is suggested. All ages welcome, as long as you can rest quietly for the entire session — it's a listening-room atmosphere, held from first tone to last.

What to expect
An immersive sound journey
A sound ceremony is a live, immersive musical journey — you lie down, close your eyes, and let the sound guide your nervous system into the parasympathetic state, where the body does its own healing. Gongs, singing bowls, drums, and chimes are layered with synths, guitar, and voice into one soundscape built for exactly that. There is nothing to do and nothing to get right.
This is a listening room — the music holds the space from the first tone to the last, and the quiet is part of the experience for everyone in it.

Good to know

- Feel free to bring whatever makes the floor feel like home — a yoga mat, pillow, blanket, or eye mask. Guests lie down when there’s room, or sit as needed.
- All ages are welcome, as long as guests can sit quietly for the entire two-hour ceremony so the room stays undisturbed for everyone.
- Once the ceremony begins, plan to stay through the end — the arc of the journey is the experience.
